Peter J. Arthur
Peter has been a solicitor for over 30 years. He completed his law degree with honours at the University of Adelaide, South Australia and is a Queensland Law Society approved Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and a Registered Adjudicator under the Building and Construction Industry Payments Act (BCIPA) 2004.
Peter has worked as a senior associate with Australian top tier legal firms Phillips Fox Lawyers and Clayton Utz Lawyers and U.K. top tier law firm Bevan Ashford. Peter was a partner for five years at one of the largest regional law firms in Queensland prior to moving to the Sunshine Coast with his wife and four young children. Peter is qualified (admitted) as a lawyer in the UK, South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland and has experience in each of those jurisdictions.
In 2010 Peter was recognized by his fellow senior lawyers as being an expert litigator. The Chief Justice awarded him Commercial Litigation Specialist Accreditation, a Queensland Law Society approved award.
